A nice image
from a project dropping Spring ‘14
process- working on a b&w novella project right now. digital layering is really helpful with value (for me). turning line off allows me to see areas where I may not need them at all.
-this started as a butterfly study, then…
this will all change…mostly
Here’s a thing that I was supposed to post before I ruined it with too many lines, so, I present it here, now, before I ruin it with bad coloring. SCIENCE!
2014? (I hope so or aka when it’s good enough)
from Disappearing Town
Deen Gireaux (Giraud, Giraux)
-Joan.E’s sister, also a lead character in the first arc
* I wanted to add that she took some classes in alien dance, but I haven’t figured out a clever name for that university class.
Gireaux (Giraud, Giraux)
-he kinda hangs over the entire first arc, setting some galactic moves in motion
(also, Joan E’s father…barely)
Joan E Gireaux (Giraud, Giraux)
(she’s the lead in the first arc) It started out unintentionally, but I’ve been spelling that last name in a few different ways
-this is a comfort character pose for me. It’s easy enough, and helps build confidence heading into a long drawing session
Messing around with covers for eventual Disappearing Town issues. This one was prompted by this tumble by Witzke
I don’t think he meant just copy it, but y’know, I’m unoriginal x100 times.com
quick 25 min warm-up
-I enjoyed this comic and am a fan of Pope’s design work for the character.
November, I think?
